SSL46 Far City Ambiences Vol.2 — field recording

One of our more important library was the original SSL23 Far City Ambiences. It was a step forward in the way we record our libraries. We got new gear because for us, it was really important to get the best quality in our projects. As many of you know, we are a post Studio in Madrid, Spain (www.blacktone-studio.com) and we try to achieve the best in all our projects.

This year, we have just recorded the second part of the collection: FAR CITY AMBIENCES VOL.2

This compilation of registers is designed to perform real wild sounds in your films and postproduction projects.

All the sounds that this collection is composed of have been obtained and recorded on an ambisonic format. Besides, all the recordings include metadata in English and Spanish, and they are compatible with software of sound library management like Soundminnner.

We have decoded all the First Order Ambisonic recordings with HarpeX plugin into 7.1.2 Dolby ATMOS bed configuration, using the top channel to create totally outstanding ambiences tracks ready to use!

With Ambisonic Recordings you will be able to decode it from mono to Atmos systems! Its important to think in ambisonics as the way to go for VR and modern Film Sound Post Production, and we are ready for it!
