1. Who we are

This site (kaizen.audio) is operated by Kaizen Audio Group SL (Tax ID B88460464), the data controller, with registered office at Calle Grandeza Española 63B, 28011 Madrid, Spain. Full ownership details are in our Legal Notice. For any privacy enquiry, write to hello@kaizen.audio.

2. What data we collect

  • Analytics: if you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-XF9P65L1SC) to understand aggregate usage of the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type), with IP truncation enabled. This includes store interactions such as viewing a product, starting a trial download or completing a purchase. If you are signed in to your store account, our commerce provider assigns these events a pseudonymous user identifier — a random reference that is never your email or name — so that a purchase can be attributed to the visit that led to it. Analytics does not load unless you consent — see our Cookie Policy.
  • Newsletter: if you subscribe, your email address is stored by Kit.com (formerly ConvertKit) and used solely to send Kaizen Audio updates. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email we send.
  • E-commerce & licensing: purchases, trials and activations are processed by Moonbase (tenant kaizenaudio.moonbase.sh). Moonbase stores your account details, license keys and billing data on our behalf. Payments are processed by Moonbase's payment partners; we never see or store full card numbers.
  • Direct contact: if you email us, we keep the message and your address only as long as needed to handle your request.

3. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies: strictly necessary ones set by the Moonbase storefront (to keep you signed in), and — only if you accept them — Google Analytics cookies to measure traffic. You can accept, reject or change your choice at any time via the link in the footer. The full list is in our Cookie Policy.

4. Legal basis

We process personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on the basis of (a) your consent (newsletter, optional analytics), (b) the contract between us when you buy or trial a product, and (c) our legitimate interest in running and improving the site.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the processors listed above (Google, Kit.com, Moonbase) so they can deliver the services we use them for, and with authorities when required by law.

6. International transfers

Some of our processors (Google and Kit.com) are based in the United States and may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards — such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision — so your data keeps an equivalent level of protection.

7. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected: newsletter data until you unsubscribe; purchase, license and billing records for as long as required to provide the service and to meet our legal and tax obligations; and analytics data for the retention period configured in Google Analytics. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict our processing of it. To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@kaizen.audio. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
